HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid nurtures sports talents to excel at international level competitions

Paris, August 10, 2008 - To promote Moroccan identity abroad, Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is undertaking initiatives to implement an international strategy to enhance Moroccan leadership in the international sport community and support high performance athletic excellence.

As part to remain closely aligned with a plan of action, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, President of Royal Moroccan Federation for Hunting Shotgun Shooting, ensured that the Moroccan sporting shooter teams were present in the World Championship of Universal Trench in France.

The World Championship of Universal Trench was held in Ychoux, France from July 17th to 20th 2008.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also took specific measures to encourage youth participation in the event aimed at building a pool of young talents with the potential of becoming champions.

The Moroccan women, including Yasmina MESFIOUI, were in attendance seeing that another aspect of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid philosophy and commitment to improving the condition of women through effective measures, various incentive and welfare schemes opportunities.
