HRH Prince Moulay Rachid heralds new season for the Hassan II Golf Trophy

Rabat, July 22, 2007 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, the Founder and President of the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, announced that the Dubai Desert Classic will join the Hassan II Golf Trophy as additional partner in this year event.

According to statement, the parties signed agreement of partnership. The new partnership is designed to assist to build the capacity for growth through the development and promotion of the most important golf tournament in Morocco.

His Royal Highness underlined the importance of cooperation with other golf organizations is necessary to bring the golf business to the higher level and to ensure that it keeps abreast of development.

His Royal Highness has been a relentless advocate for the game of golf for all and is committed to strengthen golf industry’s involvement in golf trade and promotion activities, which has already positioned the Kingdom of Morocco as the regional leader.

From the day one, when His Royal Highness founded Hassan II Golf Trophy Association, the golf in Morocco and region has continued to build momentum and is became a great niche market for the kingdom bringing tourists from around the world

The Hassan II Golf Trophy, established in 1971, is the oldest sporting event in Morocco managed by the Hassan II Golf Trophy Association under HRH Prince Moulay Rachid presidency. The event, held every year, brings together champions from around the world. This year Hassan II Golf Trophy will take place in the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat from October 24 to 28, 2007.

Hala dear, I had to read your comment (since it is dedicated to me) over and over again to see where you're coming from. After 3 times, a few frowns, a short refresher break, and another 2 times, something finally struck me, and it's not even an answer, it's a question:

Are you trying to tell me that HRH has no "handicap"?

Prince Moulay Rachid grow in front in our eyes. He was always out and about. Not sure if that is easy to do but he did perfect. He is a pragmatic. He gets a lot of respect, thanks to his seriousness, the tough tasks on global levels and ease at work with good balance between natural outgoing and humour and good serious work.

Prince Moulay Rachid loves golf, he used to compete in hassan golf trophy. God bless him for making market oportunity in this rather rare but unique for muslim country.
