HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid commands Royal Armed Forces like no one else can
Rabat, May 14, 2009 - In celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid hosted a special luncheon Thursday, May 14, to honor the men and women who served the Kingdom.
As part of an event, the celebration offered the Royal Armed Forces an opportunity to reflect on the leadership and inspiring aura of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid that pervaded the anniversary.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, who plays a strong leadership role in the military, stressed that the Royal Armed Forces are the guarantor of the national security and domestic tranquility of Moroccan people.
Hand in hand, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid saluted Moroccan soldiers involved in abroad peacekeeping operations who are serving to prevent potential conflicts and paid tribute to their families and sacrifice of Moroccan military spouses.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid made the concluding statement in the celebration of the 53rd Anniversary of the founding of the Royal Armed Forces, expressing appreciation of the strength of service members and families who are sacrificing for the Kingdom of Morocco, saying they deserve full support in return.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid wants to maintain dialogue of partnership
Fes, May 12, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid had, on Tuesday May 12th 2009, a luncheon with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, before the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi concluded a three-day official state visit to Morocco.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, dressed in the impressive dark suit, clearly wants to continue dialogue on regional and bilateral programs of cooperation in economic areas and to exchange experiences on ways and tools for strengthening cooperation in society.
Apart from mutual Morocco-UAE relations, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid spoke about several other current international issues with a stress on the current economic crisis and mutual steps in ameliorating its impacts.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also welcomed the current investments by the UAE as they have been presented by the understanding of Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid facilitates for Morocco to power modern

Stressing the social and economic impact of the project, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid underlined that the reliable and affordable energy is essential to building Morocco’s healthy economy, reminding, the power of energy drives global economic development.
With clear believes that the availability of reliable and affordable energy is critical to sustained economic growth, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid warned that energy shortages is a result of high prices, slow economic growth and adversely affects people's quality of life.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid hopes if the project goes as to plan, the plant will produce and deliver electricity to people, cutting number of Moroccan people who still don't have access to electricity.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid had a working meeting with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi
Fes, May 12, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, Tuesday May 12th 2009, received for talks Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid and Sheikh Mohamed discussed various issues on the international and regional agenda and, in particular, the social and economic situation in the region was the subject of discussion.
During the talks the two Crown Princes also discussed Morocco-UAE trade and economic cooperation, political and cultural aspects of bilateral cooperation, adding there was room for advancing cooperation, notably in the economy and culture.
Following the talks Crown Prince Moulay Rachid chaired a signing ceremony on economic cooperation.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid places foundation stone for Bab al-Bahar mega development
Rabat, May 12, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, Tuesday, laid the Foundation Stone for the Bab al-Bahar mega development.
At the ceremony, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid reviewed a presentation on the stages of the US$ 750 million project, which is a joint venture between Morocco's Bouregrag River Development Agency and the UAE’s Al Maabar.
Getting the full support of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, the 55,000 square meters of residential and commercial buildings, the 5-star hotel, hotel apartments, office buildings, shopping centers, a theatre, arts city, a tunnel, a bridge and full amenities and facilities will be built on an area of 7 million square feet.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, who set the strategy for the Morocco’s Vision 2020, is hoping the residential and tourist complex will create more sustainable jobs and more safe economic and social well-being of the Moroccan people in the coming decades.
The ceremony, held at the project’s site in Sale-Rabat, was attended by dignitaries, visitors and guests from Morocco and the UAE.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid steps out in style
Rabat, May 11, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid was his usual elegant self in a Moroccan traditional djellaba with authentic traditional fes, as He hosted Monday evening a dinner banquet in honour of His counterpart Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the accompanying delegation, currently on an official visit to Morocco.
During the dinner, the two Crown Princes exchanged views on a number of their countries related issues and discussed relations of cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, commercial and investment.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid wished Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Morocco.
