HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid continues to successfully promote Morocco through golf

El Jadida, Morocco, April 29, 2009 – Outlining a long-standing sporting strategy for the Kingdom of Morocco with resources of golf used as a force to promote the country as a world-class tourist destination, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid organizes from April 29th to May 3rd the Moroccan Classic 2009 at Pullman El Jadida Royal Golf and Spa in El Jadida, Morocco.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, the Founding President of the Hassan II Golf Society, had created sustainable development concept by making major golfing events (including the annual Hassan II Golf Trophy) to contribute to the sustainable economic development, provide learning a richer and more meaningful experience and position Morocco as a world hub of the golfing excellence.

Approaching the international sporting community with a fresh view, the international sports reporters praised Crown Prince Moulay Rachid saying that “the course is in the best shape they have ever seen it”, adding “the Pullman El Jadida Royal Golf and Spa course is undoubtedly a superb venue for this week’s event.”

Many notable international names in the field are present at the Moroccan Classic 2009, including Challenge Tour champions Michael McGeady of Ireland, England’s Gary Boyd, Switzerland’s Julien Clément, Scotland’s Andrew McArthur and Australia’s Andrew Tampion.
