Easter is the day Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Jesus was crucified on a cross in Jerusalem on a Good Friday and three days later an angel whispered the words to his followers that he has risen from the tomb, meaning Resurrection on the first Easter-Sunday.
