Crown Prince Moulay Rachid stresses conformity of views on the issues with Colombia

Qatar, April 2, 2009 – Continuing to create big opportunities to all-round development of mutual cooperation, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid received on Tuesday (March 31st, 2009) the Colombian Vice President Francisco Santos Calderon in Doha, Qatar.

During the talks the sides exchanged views on current and perspective Morocco-Colombian relations, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest.

In His remarks at the meeting, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid paid particular attention to developing bilateral cooperation, and making both countries the partners in political issues.

We appreciate each other’s different cultures but we also aim to find common values in our two different societies, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid added.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also emphasized that economic cooperation between the two countries should accomplish a solid foundation and expressed His hope for its future successful development.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid said he was very pleased with the meeting’s outcome and noted that Morocco-Colombian cooperation will become more concentrated based on the concrete results from their meeting.
