HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid journeys to Doha – Qatar
Qatar, March 31, 2009 – Marching towards strengthening Arab standing on the regional and on international forums, Morocco’s Heir His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid has traveled to Doha, Qatar on Sunday to lead the Kingdom's delegation to participate in the 21st Arab Summit, held in Qatari capital Doha on Monday (March 30, 2009).
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is also leading the Morocco’s delegations in the 2nd South American-Arab Summit on Tuesday March 31, 2009.
In addition, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid was received by Qatari Minister of State Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Atiyyah, Moroccan Ambassador to Qatar and other senior officials at the Doha International Airport.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid offers prayers on Prophet's birth anniversary
Rabat, March 9, 2009 -- His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid chaired Monday a ceremony commemorating the birthday of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad at the Royal Palace Mosque in Rabat.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also performed the mass prayer on the occasion.
This event furthermore observed local imams speak to participants on the life and work of the Prophet.
The way individual Muslims acknowledge this occasion reflected in fasting as well as reading about his life and reflecting on his teachings, by reading the Q’uran, the Muslim Holy Book revealed to Muhammad more than fourteen hundred years ago.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid kicks off the 2009 season of RMFHSS
Africa Championship of Sporting is under the way
Tangier, March 4, 2009 -- Under the notion to stage the best and most memorable championships, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is hosting the Africa Championship of Sporting in the northern city of Tangier.
The Africa Championship of Sporting is being held from March 4th to 8th, 2009.
Championship’s vivid programs include men, women, veterans, seniors and junior’s competitions.
The Championship is a part of a national program planning process that is being undertaken by Crown Prince Moulay Rachid, President of the Moroccan Royal Federation for Hunting Shotgun Shooting (RMFHSS), to set direction in the Kingdom of Morocco for 2009 period.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is a persistent advocate for the development and management of sport on to ensure the best for sport and athletes.
In accord with Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s strategy for sport, the aim is to increase the public awareness of sport, participation in sport amongst girls and women, in addition to the number of high quality athletes to train within the nation.

HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid outlines priorities for 2009 schedule of shooting sports series
Rabat, March 1, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid aims to go to 2009 with a strong position and make the national and international gatherings of the Moroccan Royal Federation for Hunting Shotgun Shooting (RMFHSS) a success, underscored His Royal Highness after a opening meeting of the Federation.
The 2009 calendar of RMFHSS shows full support and sponsorship for the various national and international events, as well as backing the development of youth programs.
In particular, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid stressed the importance of the development of social infrastructure and variety of programs designed to promote understanding of and more active participation in the shooting sports.
Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also noted that the development of youth programs are crucial source of progress and are strategic importance to country's support for young people in attaining knowledge and developing critical life skills.
In the long term, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid would like to see a charter for a sustainable top-class sport tourism, marked by a stream of the high-level international events and projects, which would help deliver a major boost to the local and national economy.
The idea to promote Morocco as a first-class world tourism destinations originally initiated and sponsored by Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is attracting increased attention, and is being adapted into the Morocco’s Vision 2020, hoping to imitate the success of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid.
