HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid outlines priorities for 2009 schedule of shooting sports series

Rabat, March 1, 2009 – His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid aims to go to 2009 with a strong position and make the national and international gatherings of the Moroccan Royal Federation for Hunting Shotgun Shooting (RMFHSS) a success, underscored His Royal Highness after a opening meeting of the Federation.

The 2009 calendar of RMFHSS shows full support and sponsorship for the various national and international events, as well as backing the development of youth programs.

In particular, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid stressed the importance of the development of social infrastructure and variety of programs designed to promote understanding of and more active participation in the shooting sports.

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid also noted that the development of youth programs are crucial source of progress and are strategic importance to country's support for young people in attaining knowledge and developing critical life skills.

In the long term, Crown Prince Moulay Rachid would like to see a charter for a sustainable top-class sport tourism, marked by a stream of the high-level international events and projects, which would help deliver a major boost to the local and national economy.

The idea to promote Morocco as a first-class world tourism destinations originally initiated and sponsored by Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is attracting increased attention, and is being adapted into the Morocco’s Vision 2020, hoping to imitate the success of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid.
