HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s golf trade drive increasing Morocco’s visibility

Rabat, May 25, 2008 – Promising to add drive to the game of golf, the Hassan 2 Golf Trophy Association under the Presidency of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is conducting 6th annual golf tournament, the Maroc Telecom Golf Trophy, Sunday May 25th at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat.

The aim of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is to bring sport-personals, friends and trade together for a sporting event that they could identify with and get them further associated with the golf.

The Maroc Telecom Golf Trophy meets locally with statewide golf industry to assist in the development and promotion, and maintenance of Morocco’s golf market in the line of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid road map for the development of economic and sporting golf tourism.

The Royal Golf Dar Es Salam Club has always been a popular destination for golf tourists, but it's getting even more action these days thanks to the direction of Crown Prince Moulay Rachid.

Many of these visitors arrive from Europe, but a growing number of U.S. travelers are also looking to experience the desert.
