HRH Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s long-standing efforts to ensure a place for cultural diversity in the frame of globalization

Rabat – Morocco, February 2, 2008 -- The ninth chapter of the Francophonie Summit in Beirut presents agenda dedicated to the topic of cultural diversity, with special emphasis on UNESCO's Convention on the Protection.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid lead the Moroccan delegation to the Ninth Francophonie Summit in Beirut, Lebanon, on October 18th to 20th, 2002, with an ambition main goal to advocate for the development of a rules-based UNESCO Convention on cultural diversity.

The article ‘L’appareil diplomatique québécois dans le dossier de la diversité culturelle’, which belongs to a dossier on the international relations of the Canadian provinces published in the Canadian newspaper the Multilateral on January-February 2008, has highlighted His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid’s forefront international efforts to advance cultural diversity through the International Network on Cultural Policy, La Francophonie and UNESCO.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid of Morocco and Prime Minister for Quebec, Bernard Landry introduced the topic of cultural diversity to the summit by mutual collaborative efforts, wrote newspaper.

Their common willpower, continues newspaper, has seized La Francophonie member states to the commitment to carry out in the long term the debate of cultural diversity.

The great achievement of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay Rachid and Bernard Landry, as key champions of the campaign for UNESCO Convention on cultural diversity, was marked by Summit Declaration 2002 in which member states had endorsed the principle of UNESCO Convention on cultural diversity, sanctioning right of the States and governments to maintain, establish and develop policies of support for the culture and cultural diversity, includes newspaper.

Thanks Alia, now I get it. What I ponder upon now is how come they have just realised this. The law was already there when Prince Hassan was born, why only now give the title back to Prince Moulay Rachid? Never mind the question, it's just me being inquisitive without a specific purpose as always.<br /> <br /> As for you K, all I can say to you is... Who cares whether he is a crown prince or not, I personnaly will love moulay rachid until the end of time.<br /> He may meet people better than me, funnier than me, more intelligent than me, but one thing I can say to my prince, I will 'ALWAYS' be here when they all leave him!<br /> My angel is worth more than all the gold in the world, i hope that people around him love him and that he has special people in his life , people with kind hearts and not frozen ones.

HRH is back to being a Crown Prince? Really? When was it made official? Why? Anyone can enlighten me on this?

Crown Prince Moulay Rachid is involved with this cause and he is very knowledgable It's such an important issue, I'd like to applaud him for this cause.
