HRH Prince Moulay Rachid spins traditional welcome for the Princes of Asturias

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid wears irresistible charm at the Trophy Ceremony
Rabat, Morocco, October 28, 2007 – The closing day of the annual Hassan II Golf Trophy is always marked by venue of the Trophy ceremony organized by His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid and his Society of Hassan II Golf Trophy.
On Sunday October 28, 2007, Prince Moulay Rachid, President of Hassan II Golf Trophy, hosted the Award Ceremony of his golf Competitions for specially invited guests, including winning players who had traveled from all over the world to be there.
The Moroccan handsome royal was welcomed by tremendous applause from the guests when His Royal Highness stepped in the magnificent Royal Golf Club and gave his most dazzling smile on display.
This year, the Prince presented Irishman Padraig Harrington for the 35th Hassan II Golf Trophy and Gwladys Nocera of France, who won the title of the Lalla Meryem Cup, with financial prizes and ceremonial gold dagger.
During the ceremony, Prince Moulay Rachid was flanked by his stunning sister, HRH Princess Lalla Meryem, who clearly enjoyed being involved in her adored brother Prince Moulay Rachid’s global project with clear vision that enabled golf players to express their talents to the world.

Rabat, Morocco, October 28, 2007 – The great success story of the Hassan II Golf Trophy with phase of outreach efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid is another great triumph for the Moroccan people.
With the acknowledgment of hard work, the tournament reached its goal especially thanks to His Royal Highness' worthwhile initiative in honor of conveying the event on highest international level in the area, and for giving the opportunity to enjoy the challenging golf experiences at one of the most famous golf club.

Wearing a formal black lace tuxedo accessorized with a spectacular bow tie and sporting a slicked back hairdo, 37-year-old royal was the embodiment of grace as he dazzled onlookers on his red carpet arrival at Rabat's Dar Essalam Royal Golf Club.
Dining with His Royal Highness were A-list golf associates, enthusiastic sponsors of the event as well as showbiz VIPs taking part in the Friendship Cup.
Plus this morning, His Royal Highness gave his blessing to the Friendship Cup, the golf competition open to the VIP and privileged guest stars from the world of business and sports.

HRH Princess Lalla Aicha radiates sophistication in gorgeous setting of the Lalla Meryem Cup

Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Aicha, beloved and loving aunt of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid and devoted sister of HM King Hassan 2, radiated the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam as she swung with her firm backing of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid’s vision for better Morocco of tomorrow.

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid shines spotlight on Humanitarian Crisis as UN celebrates its birthday
Rabat, Morocco, October 24, 2007 - Known for his compassionate nature and many philanthropic efforts, His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid took under his wings and denoted the protection of the 62nd United Nations (UN) Day as a part of his humanitarian efforts.
The high-wattage royal with the packed schedule, on the 62nd anniversary of United Nation, inaugurated the exhibition named "The route of the Millennium" to give the opportunity to learn about the issue of charitable trust, how the lack of a cohesive command is affecting the humanitarian efforts and to highlight the pressing humanitarian state that remains.
Challenging the complexities for continuing the humanitarian efforts in the world, His Royal Highness noted that good progress has been made, but the concerns are still devastatingly serious, as every year, more than 10 million children under the age of five die from entirely avoidable deaths.
Echoing the findings of numbers, His Royal Highness declared that the progress need to be made on longer-term strategies in particular in education for children around the world and better support for and investment in children as the future depends on them.
In the course of his mission, His Royal Highness is committed to continue in his long-term support and involvement in humanitarian efforts to secure peace and understanding both nationally and internationally.

HRH Prince Moulay Rachid leads the way for French President Sarkozy
Marrakech, Morocco, October 22, 2007 – His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, Morocco’s heir to the throne, greeted the Republic of France’s President, H.E. Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy with a kindly smile, who arrived in Morocco Monday for a three day long state visit.
Prince Moulay Rachid, dressed in black elegant suit and wearing a bright blue tie, seemed to be delight in the company of the French president at the welcoming ceremony marked by great pomp and extravagance.
The 37-year-old royal also spent time chatting to the excited French President’s official suite and representatives from the diplomatic corps that had greeted him with pleasant demeanor.
